He was predeceased by: his parents, Judson Conwill and Willie Griffus Conwill; his daughter Laura Crane Conwill; and his daughter-in-law Star Newsome. He is survived by: his wife Cherry Clayton Conwill; his children, Sonny Conwill (Linda) of Town Creek, Lena Conwill of Tupelo, Lagina Smith (Josh) of Guntown and Kadie Conwill of Tremont; his brothers, Milton Conwill (Sue) of Hamilton, AL. and J. L. Conwill of Tremont; his grandchildren, Preston George, Dawson George, Brody Smith, Abby Evans, Camille Conwill, Judson Conwill, Kallee Moore and Easton Kelso; and his great grandchildren, Willa Evans and Luna Evans.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel (401 S Cummings St, Fulton, MS 38843). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
