He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Brinkley and Isodora Brinkley (Icy) of Tupelo; his wife Loretta Wise; and his sons, Fredrick and Clifton.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Brinkley of Tupelo, Victor Brinkley of Hernando, Timothy Brinkley (Glenda) of West Point and James Brinkley (Kelli) of Austin; his sister-in-law Carolyn Long of Raliegh, NC; his daughter-in-law Geraldine Brinkley of Belden; and his grandchildren, Sabrina Brinkley-Bell, Marquita Brinkley, Tomeka Shumpert Vakesha Lewis, Victor Brinkley, Jr., Viktorya Brinkley, Breanna Johnson, Victoria Brinkley, Tia Goss, Constance Brinkley and Judith Brinkley. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
