He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy East and Azalea Fowler East; and his parents-in-law, Alfred P. Kelly and Wilma Hart Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kelly East; his daughter Michelle Bryant Otts (Jeff); his granddaughter Kelsey Otts Berkes (Tim); and his great grandchild Hudson Tate Berkes.
