He is survived by: his wife Betty Bailey Welford; his children, Leslie Taylor (James) of Tupelo and Jeff Welford (Cindy) of Tupelo; his siblings, Patricia Ware (Marcus) of Petal, Peggy Malley of Lucedale, Diane Patrick of Foley, AL and Tony Welford of Mobile, AL; his granddaughters, Erin Drummond (Daniel), Kathryn Taylor (Andy Trollinger) and Lauren Beard (Clark); and his great grandchild Henry Drummond.
