With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita Posey (Tupelo, Mississippi), who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Posey and Carol Posey. She is survived by: her fiancé Steve Ratliff; her daughters, Nicole McCauley of Booneville, Crystal Hall (Johnny) of Nettleton and Pamela Ridge (Steven Mayo) of New Albany, Mississippi; her grandchildren, AJ Nevarro, Lexi McCauley, Ethan McCauley, Dylan Ridge, Sawyer Ridge, Jayce Ridge and Grayson Ridge; her siblings, Tonya Poe (Robert) of Blue Springs, MS and Bobby Lee Posey (Nancy Harris) of Mooreville, Mississippi; and her granddaughter Belle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pegues Funeral Directors (535 W Jefferson St, Tupelo, MS 38804). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Street Chapel West Jefferson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made towards Anita's funeral expense; donations may be made to Pegues Funeral Directors.
