She is survived by: her husband Samuel Thornton, Sr.; her children, Debra Burns of Colorado Springs, CO, Samuel Thornton, Jr. of Belden, MS, Andrew Thornton (Evelyn) of Belden, MS, Mary Hubbert of Belden, MS, Lenoir Thornton (Carolyn) of Belden, MS, Gloria Fields (Kenneth) of Belden, MS and Larry May (JoAnn) of Milwaukee, WI; her siblings, Geraldine Green (Leo) of Verona, MS, Robert Patton (Barbara) of Belden, MS and Jimmie Pools (Johnny) of Nashville, TN; and her brother-in-law Mitchell Thornton, Sr. (Marie) of St Louis, MO.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
