Betty Jo Young Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Young (Tupelo, Mississippi), who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parent Vernie Mae Lessel Kitchen; her husband Elton E. Young; her father Alvin Kitchen; her son-in-law Wilson Nettleton; and her siblings, Travis Kitchen, Farrell Kitchen, Murle Kitchen, Nona Houston and Mildred Gore.
She is survived by : her daughters, Danette Becker (Alan), Vickie Nettleton and Jenny Patterson (Billy); and her siblings, Dorothy Jean Kettleman and Charles Kitchen (Margaret). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Jackson Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
