He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Carter and Ruby Carter; his wife Celeste Carter; and his son Steve Robinson. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Cheney (Johnny) and Sandy McMickin (Terry); his grandchildren, Brittney Jordan (Dee), Drew Jordan (Emily), Bobby Ratliff (Olivia), Lindsey Prather (Dusty), Zach McMickin (Selena), Allison McMickin, Jonathan Cheney (Bethanne) and Rhiannon Robinson; his brother Bob Carter (Brenda); his great grandchildren, Ellarea, Annalee, Emma, Eli, Annabella, Gracen, Bo, Cambelle, Madelynn, Trey, Daniel, John Brantley, Gunnar, Boone, Westin, Harleigh and Vivianna; and his close friend Phillip Garrison.
