He was predeceased by: his parents, Era Gilmore and Mary Hussey Gilmore; his wife Wanda Gilmore; and his brother Charles Gilmore (Era Gilmore, Jr.). He is survived by: his children, Lesa Phillips, Steve Malone (Tammy), Tamera Curtis, Greg Malone (Sandra) and Kathie Rodriguez (Andrew); and his sister Martha Gilmore Dickerson. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
