He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Herring; and his parents, Bob Herring and Virgie Herring. He is survived by: his son Robert Herring (Nancy) of Germantown, TN; his granddaughter Sophie Herring (Sadie) of Germantown, TN; his sister Joyce Herring Robinson of Saltillo, MS; and his sister-in-law Peggy Herring of Saltillo, MS.
