He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rufus and Myrtle Hamm Mauldin; his former wife Nellie Jean Mauldin; and his wife Shirley Gaines Mauldin. He is survived by: his children, Bobby W. Mauldin (Michelle) of Tupelo, Delisa Stennett (Dee Dee) of Tupelo, John Ashley Mauldin (Candace) of Tupelo and Michael L. "Boney" White of Tupelo; his great grandchildren, Ava, Emma and Eva; his siblings, Peggy England (Charlie) of Auburn and Billy Mauldin (Carolyn) of Tupelo; his niece Sherry Ellis; and his nephews, Jeff Mauldin and Randy England.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 252 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
