He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Joyce Thompson Grubbs; and his parents, Clifton Grubbs and Terra Grubbs. He is survived by: his daughters, Joy Grubbs Cantrell (Dennis) of Palmetto and Cindy Grubbs of Tupelo; his great grandchildren, Jake Neblett and Lee Allen Cantrell; his caregivers, Renee Harbin and Alyssa Herring; and his siblings, Spurgeon Grubbs, Irma Lee McBride, Burma Nell Evans, Frances Presley, Shirley Grubbs, Doc Grubbs, Carolyn Grubbs Hester and James "Grubby" Grubbs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families; and two special friends.
