Carley Ballard Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Carley Ballard (Tupelo, Mississippi). Carley, born on January 15, 1941, passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Carl Ballard and Mary Inez Willis Ballard; his former wife Norma Sue Ballard; and his siblings, Charlie Ballard, Paul Ballard, Carl Ballard, Jim Ballard, William Ballard, Ruth Bruce, Mary Gordon, Ernestine Wilson, Ann Hill, Pat Warren, Judy Jones and Sally Harrison.

He is survived by: his wife Patsy Kennedy Ballard; his children, Mike Ballard of St. Louis, MO, Carla Smith (Dewayne) of Old Union, Carl Ballard (Hollie) of Old Union and Patrick Ballard (Makenzie) of Old Union; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Ballard of Corinth, Caitlynn Robinson (Zak) of Corinth, Ben Smith of Old Union, Chris Smith of Old Union, Carlie Ballard of Old Union and Kenzie Ballard of Old Union; his great grandchildren, Oaklynn and Kyzer Robinson of Corinth; his sister Charlene Centanni Rogers (Randy) of Lafayette, LA; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Greene Ballard of Tupelo and Ruth Jane Ballard of Conyers, GA..

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors Tupelo (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801).
