He is survived by: his wife Kaye Gibson Roper; his children, Ron Roper (Tara), Ryan Roper (Shelley) and Kaycee Burrell (Benjamin); and his grandchildren, Lily Roper, Thomas Roper, Sadie Roper, Jack Walter Roper, Drake Burrell and Rose Burrell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sanctuary Hospice or Calvary Baptist Church.
