She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Edward Summers and Mary Lou Gunter Summers; and her sister Martha Webb. She is survived by: her husband Gerald D. Horton Sr.; her children, Gerald David Horton Jr. (Star) of Wheeler and Mary Christine "Chrissi" Horton of Mooreville; her grandchildren, Isabella Marie and Ellalee Ruth; and her sisters, Meredith Dillard, Connie Collins (Nate) and Donna Knight. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
