We announce the death of Catherine Mize of Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 69. Catherine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Purvis Reed and Jack Raymond Reed, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Paul Mize; her sons, Paul Mize, III (Bonnie) and Bennett Mize (Mattie); her grandchildren, Henry Mize, William Mize and Wylie Mize; and her siblings, Jack Reed, Jr. (Lisa), Camille Sloan (Crofton) and Scott Reed (Annette).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (412 W Main St, Tupelo, MS 38804). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Tupelo and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
