She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Ross and Melberlene Brown Ross; and her sisters, Janelle Joshlin and Donna Newcomb. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Whitfield; her sons, Joseph Hilliard, Rodney Hilliard of Houston, TX and Jason Whitfield of Clinton, MS; and her siblings, Wanda Grimes of Mooreville, Ervin Ross of Okolona, Ricky Ross of Nettleton, Ronnie Ross of Saltillo and Terry Ross of Saltillo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
