He was predeceased by: his father Durell Shields. He is survived by: his wife Agnes Johnson of Tupelo; his daughters, Angela Teresa Shields Earnheart (Glen) of Knoxville, TN and Lecersia Ann Shields Clark (Lauren) of Fort Worth, Texas; and his brother-in-law Bobby Johnson (Margaret) of Ozark.
