He was predeceased by: his father Dayton Underwood; his wife Faye Underwood; his mother Lois Moore Underwood; his daughter Kim Thompson; the mother of his child Mary Ann Underwood; and his siblings, Joe Underwood and Priscilla McDaniel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon "Sherry" Walker of Fulton and Tina Coggins (Nickey) of Tupelo; his son-in-law Gary Thompson of Amory; his grandchildren, Chris Walker (Jenna), Mandy Moore (Ben), Jake Moore (Malorie), Ryan Moore (Tatum), Zack Coggins (Amy), Sarah Kay Davidson (James) and Nick Coggins; and his sisters, Betty Myatt of Shreveport, Louisiana, Linda Joy of Dallas, Texas and Wanda Ratcliff (Frank) of Fulton.
His family asks that memorials be made to St. Jude, 262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
