It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Wright of Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Wright and Arlene Chism Wright; his uncle Credence Clearwater Revival; his son Christopher David Wright; his brothers, Clyde Francis Wright and Jerry; his sister-in-law Carolyn Nations; and his nephew Mike Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Bailey Wright; his children, Suzy Wright, Beth Wright and Brooks Wright (Julianne); his grandchildren, Baylee Wright, Chase Wright, Harrison Wright and Hayden Wright; his nephew Scott Nations; his close friends, Beverly Hamilton, Patsy, Mike Shannon and Lady Holman; and his caregiver Jackie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home (1604 MS-25 North, Amory, MS 38821). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
