With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Virginia Gibson of Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on December 13, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas A. Gibson and Kathleen Gibson; and her brother Tommy "Hoot" Gibson. She is survived by : her close friends, Patty Burks of Tupelo and Tricia Richardson of Tupelo; and her caregivers, Deborah Shackleford, Karen Souter, Daisy Mashan, Nadean Evans, Gloria Fitzpatrick and Carolyn Bogan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Family Association or to the Charity of your choice.
