He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Smith and Eloise Taylor Underwood Smith; and his siblings, Jane Coggins and Chuck Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Smith; his daughters, Michelle Smith of Greeneville, TN and Monica Phillips (Kevin); his brother Bobby Smith of Dothan, AL; his grandsons, Benjamin Hayes Phillips (Dixie) and Andrew Gibson; and his great grandchild Mangus Graham Phillips.
