He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Fandel and Bruno Fandel; his brother Jim Fandel; and his brother-in-law Jim Padavic. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his sons, Steve (Kim), Jay (Frances) and Mark (Katherine); his grandchildren, Peyton (Catherine), Jonathan (Brittany), Drew (Anne Claire), Nicholas and Lauren; his stepgrandchildren, Marc Benavidez, Dylan Benavidez, Jaymie Benavidez (Katie), Dani Hughes (Derrick) and Juli Bender; his great grandchildren, Winn, Jane, Bennett and Emma; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aria, Siria, Anthony and Sophia; his siblings, Jerry Fandel (Nancy), Ilene Padavic (Jim) and Linda Burrack (Lea); his sister-in-law Karen Fandel; and his caregivers, Susan Unger and Pat Winter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
