Elder Annis M. Blackful Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 9, 2025, at the age of 87, Elder Annis M. Blackful of Tupelo, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Elder Annis may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elder Annis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Lee and Perk Forster; and her husband John Henry Blackful. She is survived by: her children, Joyal Fayette Chapman, Wanda Wyvette Ruff (Daniel Ruff) and Craig Barnell Blackful (Gwen); and her brother Ledentry Forster (Mary E. Forester). She is also survived by three children, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
