Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elizabeth Ann Rogers of Tupelo, Mississippi, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away at the age of 78, on October 25, 2022. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Taft and Hazel Elizabeth Newton; her brother Gary Newton; her husband Bill Rogers; and her father-in-law J. C. Rogers.

She is survived by : her children, Lisa Overton Robinson of Tupelo and Tim Overton (Shannon) of Tupelo; her sister Susie Newton Kenney of Juno Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Kelly Robinson, Chris Robinson, Jacob Overton, Luke Overton and Zack Overton; her mother-in-law Margurie Rogers; and her brother-in-law Eddie Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tupelo-Lee Humane Society.

Anastasia Cary wrote a sympathy message

“My mother-in-law, Ms. Agnes, loved hanging out with Ms. Ann. Ms. Ann is the first good friend she has been able to make here since she moved in with us 2 years ago. These two had great fun attending small group and church together. Ms. Ann was great at introducing Ms. Agnes to new places to eat lunch. She always had funny stories to tell when she had been out with Ms. Ann. And sometimes they came back with very interesting items from their shopping trips, like big metal trash cans for bird seed.”
