We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2024, at the age of 92, Elsie Jean Lamons (Tupelo, Mississippi), born in Pontotoc, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doshie B. McLaughlin Stepp and Roy B. Stepp. She is survived by: her husband Owen Lamons, Jr.; her nephew George Lamons; her children, Pamela Lamons, Emrick Lamons (Kelly) and Mark Lamons; her grandsons, Jamie Richey (Shawna) and Eddie Lamons; her grandson-in-law Patrick Elkins; her great grandchildren, Eli, Jax Richey, Roman and Julian Elkins; and also, Emily Lamons, Linda Stepp and Verline Stepp.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Chesterville Calvary Baptist Church, 106 Doe Run, Tupelo, MS 38801.
