She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Stanford and Della Johnson Stanford; her son Dewayne Smith; and her siblings, Charles Stanford, Lawrence Stanford and Lois Sanders.

She is survived by: her sons, Donald Smith of Southaven and Howard Burnham (Sharon Wesley) of Red Bay, Alabama; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Smith of Tupelo. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
