It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Fortune (Tupelo, Mississippi), who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fortune and Virginia Smith Fortune Argentine; and his wife Susan Woodard Fortune. He is survived by: his caregiver Simonne Fortune Jordan (late Russell) of Madison; and his sons, Chip Fortune (Megan) of Washington State and Chris Fortune (Susanna). He is also survived by his siblings, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
