She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Hargrove and Theomae Hargrove; her brother Ralph Hargrove, Jr.; and her brother-in-law David Bass. She is survived by: her niece Torri White; her daughter Jennifer Thornton (Barry); her grandchildren, Lt. Grant Thornton, Lt. Reed Thornton (Brittany) and Blair Thornton; her great grandchild Lillian Thornton; and her siblings, Peggy Fedrick, Betty Mobley (Sam), Theomae Bass and Paul Hargrove (Cindy).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sanctuary Hospice House, Tupelo, Mississippi where Gale spent her last days.
