It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Davis Williams of Tupelo, Mississippi, born in Saltillo, Mississippi, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William "Bill" Davis Williams and Minnie Mae Dykes Williams; and his siblings, Newell Williams, Tim Williams, Billy Williams and Mary Helen Hallmark.

He is survived by : his wife Marion Francis Williams; his children, Mitch Williams of Saltillo, Terry Williams (Dianne) of Amory and Wanda Williams Brewer of Shannon; his grandson Taylor Matthew Williams; his stepgrandchildren, Christy Burrow and Pam Warrinton; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Sam Warrington, Kirsten Burrow, Frankie Burrow and Jessie Burrow. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
