With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Robert Pettigrew (Tupelo, Mississippi), who passed away on April 11, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Porter Pettigrew and Virginia Claude Edwards Pettigrew; his wife Emogene Scruggs Pettigrew; and his brother Ernest. He is survived by: his daughter Vicky Pettigrew Crocker (Jerry) of Tupelo; his granddaughter Nicole Crocker Hightower (Buddy Roe); his grandson-in-law Dwayne of Tupelo; his great grandchildren, John Curtis Hightower and Luke Connor Hightower; and his brother-in-law Howard Conaway of Toomsuba.
