She was predeceased by : her parents, Callie Kohliem-Woodruff (McWhorter) and William T. Kohliem; her husband Rev. James Eckford; her brother George Kohliem; her sons, Bruce Kohliem and Charles Eckford; and her cousin Eartha Bradley.

She is survived by : her children, Glen Kohliem (Cynthia) of Blue Springs, MS, Karla Montgomery (William) of Blue Springs, MS, William Eckford (Mary) of South Carolina, Gennie Smith (Hermon) of Biloxi, MS, Lisa Crockett (Jerry) of Booneville, MS, Larry Eckford (Maudine) of Jackson, MS, Earl and Wille Eckford of Rienzi, MS; her cousin Bernice Price; and her grandsons, Glen Kohliem II and Fronza Eckford. She is also survived by grandchildren, greatgrandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel-Holland Funeral Directors (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801).
