Jack leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jack’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jack will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Goodman and Christine Goodman (Tinnin); and his wife Joan Goodman. He is survived by: his family, Susan Potosky of Cordova, Tennessee, Melissa Surles (Garrett) of Southaven, Mississippi, Matt Teegarden (Ginny) of Arvada, Colorado and Chris Goodman (Barbara) of New Hartford, Connecticut.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a large circle of extended family.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children (2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607) or the Elvis Presley Foundation Scholarship (3734 Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, TN 38116).
