He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Roden Patterson and Bertha Evelyn Shackelford; his wife Judie Patterson; his siblings, Charles Patterson, Danny Patterson, Little Girl and Kelly June; and his nephew Jessy Patterson.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Parker (David) of Nettleton and Kevin Patterson (Emily) of Tuscaloosa; his stepsons, Chris Farrow and Kevin Farrow; his brother Jerry Patterson (Pat); his half-brothers, Richie Patterson and Jackie L. Patterson; his grandchildren, Amber Wilson, Hayley Hogue (Grant) and David Parker Jr. (Jordyn); and his great grandchildren, Ava Brooke Smith and Millie Parker Hogue. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
