He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Curbow (Shelby) and James Richard Christian; his wife Betty Burgett Christian; his daughters, Trudy Hutson and Jamie Burleson; his son-in-law Wayne Burleson; and his son Danny Burgett.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie Christian (Terri) of Mooreville, Betsy Turner (Tony) of Saltillo, Aaron Burgett (Donna) of Panama City, Fla., Greg Burgett (Cheryl) of Saltillo and David Burgett (Debra) of Amory; and his son-in-law David Hutson of Tupelo. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
