He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Burleson and Elmira Burleson of Shannon; his daughter Angelia; and his siblings, Thomas, Excail, Wilburn, Jr., Madge Curbow and Earlene Matthews.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Jeff Burleson (Jennifer) of Shannon and Mark Burleson (Emily) of Shannon; his grandchildren, Andrew Burleson (Angela), Hunter Burleson (Meghan), Kate Overton (Luke), J. D. Burleson (Cora), Lia Burleson (Austin), Rachel Hamilton (Jack) and Sam Burleson; his great grandchildren, Jeremiah James Overton and Emilie Chere Overton; his sisters, Joann Tackett, Helen Logan (Robert), Frances Rowland and Donna Pickering; his brothers-in-law, Ken Estes (Claudia) and Joey Estes; and his close friends, Jr. Mask, Roy Foster and Mitch Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
