He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Moore and Nellie Watson Moore; his children, Rebecca Willitt and John Moore; and his brother Rob Moore.

He is survived by: his son Bud; his spouse Jackie Moore; and his sons, James R. Moore (Katie) of Houlka and Christopher Moore of Houlka. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
