We announce the death of Jennett Forthman in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 83. Jennett will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Jennett will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Jennett’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Atness Warren and Mary Anniss Spencer; her son Carl Forthman; and her sister Yvonne Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Joe Forthman of Mantachie; her children, Keith Ekenseair (Tammy) of Greensboro, GA, Jason Forthman (Brandi) of Greenfield, Indiana and Angie Diess of Willis, TX; and her siblings, James Warren, Johnny Maxey, Barbara Nunley of Mantachie, MS and Billie Cantrell of Mantachie, MS. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel (3535 MS-371, Mantachie, MS 38855). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
