We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2025, at the age of 80, Jessie Hughes Gamble (Tupelo, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jessie Hughes shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jessie Hughes farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hughes and Nannie Shannon Hughes; her husband James H. Gamble; her brother George Hughes; and her children, Charles Gamble and Brenda Gamble.
She is survived by: her children, James Gamble, Jr. (Ryan Hughes Gamble) of Grand Rapids and Kay Gamble Whiteside (Robert) of Chesterville; and her sister Dorothy Hughes of Tupelo.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Grayson-Porter's Mortuary (401 N Spring St, Tupelo, MS 38802).
