He was predeceased by: his mothers, Lee Edward Scott Sr. and Corean Brooks Scott-Carter; his brothers, Charles Easker Atterberry and Lee Edward Scott Jr.; his grandmothers, L. P. and Nancy Samuels-Brooks; his aunts and uncles, Bertha Sanders, Alena Gunn, Mary Kelly, Mattie Mosley-Westbrook, Annie B. Brooks, Jesse, Crist, Walter, Prealus, James Thomas, James Earl and Sammy; Robert Carter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Scott-Rogers of Lorain, OH and Coreena Sott of Baton Rouge, LA; his grandchildren, Zaccherriah Scott, Shamiya Guyton, Laikyn Scott, Shamar Townsel, Brittany St'Louis and Javona Lawrence Chicas; his great grandchildren, Karter Hunt, Serenity Townsel, Cassie Aigee, Zaiden St'Louis and Xionna St'Louis; and his aunts, Dorothy Brooks-Sykes, Earnestine Brooks-Ray and Santiana Brooks-Ervin (Willie). He is also survived by nieces, cousins and many friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grayson-Porter's Mortuary (401 N Spring St, Tupelo, MS 38802). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Spring Hill M. B. Church (593 N Green St, Tupelo, MS 38804). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Praire Grove Cemetery.
