It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Allen of Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harris Allen and Edith French Allen; his wife Irene Allen; and his siblings, Nora Elder, Howard Allen and Billy Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Bruce (Johnny) of Saltillo and Ron Allen of Dallas, Texas; his granddaughters, Amy Bruce Hogan (Chris) of Austin and Katie Bruce Stuart (Drew) of Tupelo; his great grandchildren, Heath Hogan, John Andrew Stuart, Harper Hogan and Jackson Stuart; and his close friend Joyce Hamlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
