It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Carnell Cochran of Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jimmy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jimmy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Lewis Cochran and Mary Emma Robbins Cochran. He is survived by: his daughter Joylynn Bailey (Jonathan) of Saltillo.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Small Pavilion (264 Cabin Dr, Tupelo, MS 38804). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
