It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Holcombe in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on January 5, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Patterson and Eula Reed Patterson; her husband Albert Edwin "Ed" Holcombe, Sr.; and her sister Bonnie Tucker. She is survived by: her children, Eddie Holcombe (Shelley) of West Point, Marty Holcombe (Christy) of West Point, Jeff Holcombe (Angela) of West Point, Renee Holcombe Vernon (Ronnie) of West Point and Naima El Youmni; her grandchildren, Thad Holcombe (Alana), Haley Holcombe Hunt (Daniel), Ben Holcombe (Madison), Dawn Field (Walter), Ashley Holcombe Sykes (Kris), Chelsea Holcombe Allen (Trey), Chris Britt (Tonya), Ginger Britt King (Austin), Colby Latham (Presley), Cameron Latham, Kathryn Vernon Comer (Jonathan) and Jacob Vernon; her sister Jean Ledbetter; and her brothers-in-law, Riley Holcombe and Norman Holcombe (Carol). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
