He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie "Bill" Elrod and Nancy Rhyne Elrod. He is survived by: his brother Wayne; his sister-in-law Christi Elrod of Mooreville; his sister Marla "Sissy" Thompson (Joey) of Peaceful Valley; his nieces, Chloe, Tiffany and Nikki; his nephew Rhyne; his great-niece Addison; his great-nephews, Drew, Mikah, Ian, Parker, Dawson, Daxton and Waylon; and his close friends, Ronnie and Darlene Green of Mooreville.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
