He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert James Russell and Minnie Jessie Frederick Russell; his wife Barbara Hernandez Russell; his siblings, Anthony Russell, James Dennis Russell, Carolyn Webb Kimery, Betty Houston and Shirley Ann Sanders; and his close friend James Lee Andrews.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Posey (Tim) and Jeremy Russell (Amber); his grandchildren, Chase Russell (KaraBeth), Jaren Johnson (Mia), Brenden Johnson, Alex Russell (Cayley), Olivia Johnson, Zoe Johnson and Emma Kate Russell; his great grandchildren, Lynnox James Russell of Kenneth Shane, Lynlei Ann Louise Russell, Cayson Alexander Russell, Luxx Toliver "Tollie" Russell and Jack Henry Johnson; his sister Brenda Kipper (Bill); and his siblings-in-law, Larry Hernandez (Sandy), Joe Hernandez (Pam), Gill Hernandez (Cathy), Chris Hernandez (Sherry), Diane Deleon (Ben), Carol Williams and Vicky See (Bill). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
