She was predeceased by: her parents, Elaine Graham Hancock and L. D. Hancock; her husband Sam Patterson; her brother Larry Hancock; and her grandson Samuel Fikes.
She is survived by: her sisters, Doyce Deas (Bill) and Janice Allen; her children, Samantha Fikes (Craig) and Hardin Patterson; and her grandchildren, Taylor Webb (Shannon) and Garmon Fikes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Box One Tupelo, MS 38802, two organizations that were especially meaningful to Lauren and reflect her lifelong dedication to faith, service, and caring for others.
