He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Doyce Hancock and Elaine Graham Hancock; and his brother-in-law Sam G. Patterson. He is survived by: his children, Catherine Lackey (Brad), Carrie Winter (Adam) and Graham Hancock; his grandchildren, Ella, Caleb McMahan, Addison Lackey, Chloe Adams (Davis) and Caroline Lackey; his sisters, Doyce Deas (Bill), Lauren Patterson and Janice Allen; and the mother of his children Helen Hancock.
