He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Riley Umfress and Kelly Ellis Umfress of Tilden. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Wheeler Umfress; his sons, Wade Umfress (Debra) and Chris Umfress (Cindy); his grandchildren, Shelby Umfress of Tupelo, Trey Umfress (Katie) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Peyton Umfress of Tupelo; and his great grandchildren, Elliott Umfress and Jasper Parham.
In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Gideons International.
