He was predeceased by: his father Van Cagle; his son Van Montgomery Cagle; and his brother James Cagle. He is survived by: his wife Betty Cagle of Tupelo; his daughter Elizabeth "Libby" Cagle of Starkville; his grandchildren, Kyle Pollard of Starkville and Lindsay Pollard Ball (Tyler) of Madison; and his great grandchildren, Carter and Collin.
