Mark Ledbetter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Ledbetter of Tupelo, Mississippi, born in Vina, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ledbetter and Helen Pate Ledbetter; his son Clayton Ledbetter; his sister Celia Ledbetter McDonald; and his stepmothers, Marcelle Ledbetter and Jean Ledbetter.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Glenn Ledbetter; his children, Helen Perrott (Mark) of Carthage, Tim Ledbetter (Dawn) of Old Union and Brenda Kahn (Scott) of Waterbury, Connecticut; his siblings, Peggy Parham (Ronald) of Amory, Tom Ledbetter (Donna) of Lewes, Karen Tiffin (Billy) of West Point and Terry Ledbetter (Marla) of Tupelo; his brother-in-law Mickey McDonald; and his daughter-in-law Ellie Ledbetter. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was a past Chairman of the Community Development Foundation in Tupelo, Co-Chairman and Vice President of AHEAD (Advocating Highways for Economic Advancement and Development), and past President of the Mississippi Association of Broadcasters.
